By Jeff Kappel

You've probably heard by now that many real estate investors were hard hit when everything hit the fan a couple of years ago. Some long-standing members of countless real estate investors clubs lost their shirts and much, much more. But, there is little heard about the many investors who have done well as a result of the recent housing market crisis. I can tell you one thing, those investors are the ones who kept investing in real estate books and kept learning.

Prices right now are at all time lows and you have a great chance to use a weak dollar to invest in very profitable real estate deals. This isn't the case of "be fearful when other people are greedy" as Warren Buffet says, but it pays to listen to those top notch investors who've done their homework by reading real estate investing books or writing them from their own personal experiences.

These underground real estate investors are the ones who keep the end goal in mind no matter what the market is doing. Maybe you've heard in a real estate book or a class that diversity in your real estate investing is the hidden combination to unlock the profit vault for all real estate investing. This couldn't be more true in shaky markets.

Flipping properties is only one strategy in making profit when it comes to real estate investing. If you're like me, you probably get sick and tired of hearing about all the self proclaimed "experts" who just flip houses. My question would be, what are you going to do when that doesn't work as well as it is now? Remember, the key is to keep the end in mind and maybe take a peak at investing in some commercial real estate now to help secure some awesome returns and to diversify into different types of properties whether you do sole investing or group investing.

Before you get started though there is something you should do if you want to enjoy an excellent real estate return on investment. Maybe you should think about investing in real estate books to help minimize your risk? Then you'll have a successful guide to follow who's actually been in your shoes. You'll see how they plan, do research and adjust to current real estate climates. You'll be learning from the right people.

If you find a real estate invest book that you enjoy it's important to sit down and really set goals for what your plans are with your current investing strategy. When you put things in writing and make a specific plan it's much easier to follow through and execute on your plan to maximize your profit potential. This also works great if you have a partner.

Real estate climates and markets are constantly changing, which is why I believe it to be so true that you carefully plan out and research your strategies. The real estate investors who lose their butts are the ones that just do it on a whim and don't do any of the behind the scenes work, which is why they are left in the dust.

If you are looking for that successful step by step guide then investing in real estate books is something you should consider in your current situation. Real estate can still be the goose that lays the golden egg for those who are willing to be the best at it. Like the old business saying says, treat it casually and you'll end up a casualty. Myself, I don't think it's necessary for you to lose any money you don't need to if you can find out what you need to know before hand. This is why a real estate group or club is a good compliment to those real estate books.

Group real estate investing is a great way to spread the risks around while getting your feet wet in real estate investing. The bottom line, if you really want to know how to invest in real estate with minimal risk is that you need to understand there is ALWAYS risk involved in any kind of investment. It's being willing to take the risk but knowing it's necessary to educate yourself ahead of time that will make a world of difference and that is why investing in real estate books is so important.

Confessions of a gg-holic

While it may be true that my interest for Western dramas and guys is quite questionable, this time, it’s true. I’m interested in The CW’s teen drama series Gossip Girl, based on the book with the same title.

I don’t know if it’s really my College classmates and friends or C-chan (now called “C”) or myself that really got me into reading and watching it at the same time. It was just like one summer ago that I heard some UP people’s addiction to it. I often even wondered what got them into watching it. Oh well, so much for that.

Right now, I avidly download every single episode of its Season 2, and admittedly, it got me hooked. It was such an intriguing series, although so much difference could be noted when it comes to the book itself. Anyway, I think it’s better in the series since it’s more lighter and the fact that watching is so much easier than reading. Besides, you get to see their on-screen equivalents pretty and that.

I wonder whether I’ll drop this enthusiasm for gg someday. Who actually knows that?

Now that it's vacation at last, I'm in total confusion. I have finally all the freedom to do my usual things--TV, sleep-late-wake-up-late mode, PC 20/7, go out with my barkada-- but I cannot do them since I don't feel like it.

So I began downloading using my Hazel-PC, the weird automatic name of my laptop, and that is one of the main problems I encounter. Our DSL connection is cumbersome--not because it's heavy but because I had to go through much before its IP settings is alright and ready for net. Hazel-PC must stay at one place so that the connection won't go off. The modem must be at one secured place so that it would be alright. And my UTP cable's RJ-45 clip also was broken. I'm so upset.

Anyway, to ensure that my connection stays and my downloads are finished, this PC has not been TURNED OFF. Yes. That's true. For 3 straight days, this has been plugged. I wonder how our electricity bill turns out. Maybe I'll be at fault again for the skyrocketing bill. That's the other reason why they want me to stay out of home and enroll for summer--to save money.

According to my mom and dad, I am doing too many nonsense stuff and that my activities are just according to my senseless whim. I kind of agree with them. Sure, my media addiction requires more money than other addictions since I have the tendency to make sure I'm updated and all the necessary mumbo jumbos are to be done, but this is just me. I can't stay away from anime, movies, books, internet, games, manga and TV that easily especially now it's vacation.

I'm planning to skip buying a new mobile phone--the one that's supposed to be my ticket and vacation expense at Singapore-- since I wanted a new EHD (external hard drive) or an upgrade for MR-PC-Reborn, my 5-year old desktop computer. I don't think any of the two would be granted that easily since stuff have high prices nowadays. Oh well, I'll just have to request a cheaper one. I want to record TV shows so I guess it would have to be the PC to TV converter.

I'm so bored. Really bored.

Still, I have many nonsense stuff left to be accomplished. I better start updating my fan fiction and my fiction... and do my English paper due tomorrow.

Ang daming CATEGORIES nito no? Ganyan talaga.

(One way ride kasing mabilis papunta sa mall na to at pauwi sa bahay kaya dito ako no)

Hayan.

(Nyaaay) Anyway, nakapagbasa din ako ng MAKING OUT books in Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Filipino. Grabe kakatawa! Me CURSES AND INSULTS section kasi.

Dalawang palapag yon.

Adieu!

Is this love?

Yan ang mga tanong sa MY BOYRIEND IS TYPE B na movie ni Lee Dong Gun.
(by Ha Mi- main character- girl)

Mahabang istorya. Abangan nyo nalang sa reviews ko.

Anyway, the bible said that "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and so on..."

- 1 Corinthians 13:4-13

 Is it really THAT?

On my recent LOVE experiences, I defied that bible verse.
And I do believe that the verse is the ideal one.
The ideal, unattainable definition of Love.

Who loves someone truly and honestly?
The Prince Charming who kissed Sleeping Beauty away that fateful day her fought the Evil Witch?
The Prince again, who then kissed Snow White to break yet ANOTHER Witch's spell?

The BIG answer is, a NO! HELL NO.

I'm not kidding, I've experienced this thrice in my LIFE, so haven't I learned?

YES, I just did.

You might wonder who were the ones responsible for this.

Simply my 1st to 3rd loved guy.

Another question might be:

Who did the worst thing?

The latest would be my answer. (Check my profile page for the real answer)

Okay okay... I'm getting more twisted at this.

Please don't mind me. This is just my blog.

And me and my TRUE love, Mr. PC the NONLIVING...

... will last a lifetime...

Memoirs of A Geisha

We do not become Geisha to pursue our own destinies...

Tama ba????

haaay,,,, kakapanod ko lang niyan no! Well, well... groovy ang story pati yung mga nagsiganap.

Maayos ang kwento, kung iisipin mo, at let me clear this to you: HINDI POKPOK ang GEISHA> magkaiba yun no, in my perspective. Ewan ko lang sa iba.

It's not your ordinary story.

:D

Synopsis and a comparative analysis shall follow later.
