Face Yoga, a fad?

If you don't already know, i'm pretty sporty.

I'm game to try anything new.

Most recent was aerial dance, and then drums alive.

I've yet to try laughing yoga, but late 2012, ABCnews reported that Face Yoga is the new, natural anti-aging trend.

I used to have 2 colleagues in their mid 30s who are the best of friends, sitting side by side. They make each other laugh a lot, yet they also fear of getting crow's feet from all that laughter. I observed a strange habit of theirs whenever they laughed. They would use their second finger and pull back at the sides of their eyes as they laugh.

This move can sometimes be judged as racist.

Little did this two simple-minded, happy-go-lucky ex-colleagues of mine know that they were sitting (or rather practicing) on a business potential.

Facial yoga was developed by Annelise Hagen, of New York Yoga. By making the "fish face", the "lion face" or the "satchmo", it been scientifically proven that the muscular activity helps to prolong the production of collagen and elastin, which makes your face firm and springy.

This new fad is all the rage now in America, i chanced upon a SUPER HILARIOUS face yoga series by KFC SA.

Didn't they say laughter is the best medicine?

They even did a commercial for face yoga mat!

The Search for the After Hours Athelete

Follow PUMA Social’s Hall of the Infamous social poll in Singapore on its dedicated microsite with live polling updates real time on nominations and polling results over the campaign period starting from November 2011.

Turning the mundane into an interactive campaign, PUMA recognizes the spirit of competition isn’t reserved only for the professional athlete. Any title being lived and played out by the After-Hours Athlete such as Ping Pong Hoggers, that can be celebrated with a drink in hand – makes the After-Hours Athlete a good sport.

There He Goes… (1st Multiply Post)

Alas, a new blog in a new multiply account. If not because of someone, I would not create a new one. Anyway, this post, this very first post will be dedicated to another person.

There he goes... he passes by the right side and sits beside me. He came from behind, and he's there to check the scoresheet as always.

I glanced occasionally as usual, and pretended not to feel anything else but this normal feeling in a usual situation running for a week and a day already. He's been like this, and I've been scoring the games. He too scores, for I know well that he enjoys marking the scoresheet as much as I do.

We had a little talk. The topic was utmost boring. It was about my ballpen. I proudly told him that the pen he's currently using was mine since high school. I don't know if it got him amazed or doubtful, but he lauded me for that. He even took a closer look at my black Tombow pen. We then shifted the topic of our short conversation. I then noticed that everyone were behind us while we took our watch on the game.

His number in the record is 9, while mine is 10. We are supposed lane partners, but then there's a  missing nin number 8 so I was paired with John. However, this week, John went to a conference at Leyte. Thus, we play our frames at the same time.
He has this habit of holding the ball close to his face, as if he's targetting the duckpins. I watch closely his move, for even before I took interest on him, I admired his playing skills. His accuracy is way better than mine. He does a break, a spare and all that. He even has his cheer squad as I call them. Everytime I praise and laud him, he just shyly looks down and murmurs something to me and to himself.

Not long after our brief encounters, I started talking to him more. I had an inkling that he likes games, so I took notice of the laminated hand fan he always brings to class. I asked how much was the cost for lamination. He replied that he already forgot. Then our classmate asked what character is the drawing from. He scratched his head shyly telling us that it is from a certain game. Then and there, I concluded that he is in to what I like.

A day later, we talked again, this time while Christmas was scoring. He suddenly mentioned that he took Hapon 10, a Japanese beginner's subject at our school. I was enthralled. It is because it's so rare for an Engineering student to be able to enroll on a Foreign language. We do not have electives for that, and it is considered lucky to have your adviser agree on you taking a foreign lang. Well he actually did, and we started asking questions about it.

When Christmas' turn finally came, we sat beside each other and continued our talk. I knew something about this seemingly Chinito, and I do like what he likes. We have a lot in common. And so everytime class starts, my eyes automatically search for him and I make sure I do have an opportunity to talk to him.

And so, there he goes... to the left exit. I saunter towards him and a classmate, thinking of what topic I could open up to them.

On my recent LOVE experiences, I defied that bible verse. 
And I do believe that the verse is the ideal one. 
The ideal, unattainable definition of Love.



Who loves someone truly and honestly? 
The Prince Charming who kissed Sleeping Beauty away that fateful day her fought the Evil Witch? 
The Prince again, who then kissed Snow White to break yet ANOTHER Witch's spell?



The BIG answer is, a NO! HELL NO.



I'm not kidding, I've experienced this thrice in my LIFE, so haven't I learned?





YES, I just did.



You might wonder who were the ones responsible for this.



Simply my 1st to 3rd loved guy.

Corrales VS Castillo

ASAR!!!!!!!!!!!

Last night, I watched the boxing match between Corrales and Castillo on Solar Sports Channel. It turned not the way I wanted it! Shocking kasi akala ko talaga, babagsak na si Corrales... pero in the end...


Natalo ung bet ko!

Nakabangon ulit tong si Corrales, then bumawi!!! Asar yun! Tapos, what's worst is...


TKO. As in Technical Knock Out ang decision.

Pano ba naman kasi, di na nakareact si Castillo dun sa tuluy-tuloy na bouts ni Corrales, and wala lang, parang he stood frozen. Na-corner pa xa, tapos...


Inawat na nung referee...

Of course, announced na winner na si Corrales...



*Snff*


Over-confident kasi si Castillo kaya nagpabaya xa nung round 10.
